TPO railway bridge insulation
-TPO 2.0: 108m2 (21,5m x 5,05m)
-Rubber carpet 4mm was applied to the insulation substrate as a protective layer, excluding the uninsulated bonding surfaces
- The KÖSTER TPO 2.0 insulation mat was initially installed 1.5m wide along the length of the bridge on both sides of the sloping vertical surface of the edge beam. bonded with KÖSTER Contact Adhesive over a width of approximately 120 mm. At the ends of the bridge, transverse insulating mats were installed and glued to the upper surface of the old protective concrete at the edge of the steel bracket. The glued surfaces were finally fixed with a 3x40 RST strip and acid-proof (A4) wedge anchors M6x67mm K400.
-Rubber carpet 4 x 10mm were installed as a protective layer, overlapping the joints between the layers so that they did not coincide.
